Kentucky-bred Frost at Dawn scored the first stakes win of her career in taking down top prize in the Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint (G3) at Meydan on Super Saturday, March 2.

The 3-year-old daughter of Frosted raced among the pacesetters in the early stages. Shrugging off all rivals in the lane, she surged clear of her foes late to win the turf test by 2 ½ lengths under jockey Mickael Barzalona. She covered five furlongs in :55.41, a new track record, for trainer William Knight.

Owned by Abdulla Al Mansoori and bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Frost at Dawn is produced from the War Front mare Hawana. She hails from the family of Ocean Atlantique, a stakes winner in France and the U.S., and Leroidesanimaux (BRZ). With the win in the Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint, Frost at Dawn improved her lifetime record to 4-2-3-1.
